About

The idea for Filò began with a golden thread—a memory of her working tirelessly in her studio, creating garments that wrapped everyone we knew in beauty and warmth. I never planned to follow in her footsteps, but during a quiet chapter of life, something awakened. I picked up needles, began knitting, and rediscovered a passion I didn’t know I carried.

Filò—Italian for thread—is a vessel for following the shimmering line of possibility. Each creation is born from that golden tug, carrying us on journeys of wonder, delight, and quiet celebration. These garments are companions for poets, wanderers, artists, mothers, fathers, dreamers, secret keepers, and lovers. They move with the body, honor its form, and act as breathable, living skins—made to support, to adorn, and to delight.

Every stitch in a Filò garment is a trace of care. Our wool is natural and unmulesed, and porcelain buttons are handmade specially for Filò. Each piece is fully fashioned on a manual knitting machine, knit to shape, and finished by hand—slow, thoughtful, deliberate craftsmanship with no shortcuts.

Filò is more than knitwear. It is nourishment, devotion, and a wearable ode to life’s miraculous textures. Each garment is designed to accompany you in your story, to move with you, to be worn threadbare with laughter, adventure, music, and touch. They are sustainable, made with love, care and integrity. A quiet rebellion against the ordinary, celebrating the slow, the thoughtful, and the timeless.
